Director of Advancement
Cushing Academy invites applications for the position of Director of Advancement. The Academy seeks an experienced and dynamic advancement leader with a collaborative nature to contribute to the Academy's fundraising growth and engagement of its alumni community.
The successful candidate is passionate about partnering with an engaged and successful Head of School and collaborating with an involved Board of Trustees to grow a culture of philanthropy at Cushing by focusing on growing the annual fund, expanding major and planned giving programs, engaging the Cushing alumni community, and leading the Academy into a comprehensive capital campaign.
A Bachelor’s degree is required; a graduate degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience in advancement with a track record of success, especially with special and major gifts. He/she should have experience working in advancement at the assistant director, director, or chief advancement officer level.
