Advising Program
Faculty Advisors
All Summer Session students will be assigned a faculty advisor to help them navigate their time at Cushing. Of course, students may also call on the support of many other adults—including teachers, coaches, and administrators—at any time.
Please note: Parents will receive their child’s advisor information during registration.
This advisor relationship provides Cushing students with the support and encouragement that will help them achieve their fullest potential. Advisors serve as a point-person on campus for each advisee. Advisors touch base with their advisees weekly, and they often gather their advisory group (5-6 students per group) for conversation, dinner, or special events.

Cushing Academy
Cushing Academy exists for students and develops curious, creative, and confident learners and leaders. Founded in 1865, Cushing is a co-ed, college preparatory boarding and day school for students in grades 9-12 and PG.
